1. The device cannot start or freezes after startup
Possible causes:
Power supply problem: The built-in lithium battery is depleted/aged, or the external power adapter (requiring 12V/3A) is damaged, or the interface is not properly connected.
System failure: The internal test firmware is damaged, or the system files are lost due to an unexpected power outage.
2. No signal at the test port or inability to identify the link
Possible causes:
Port hardware failure: The pins of the optical/electrical test port are bent/oxidized, or the optical module (SFP/SFP+) is not inserted tightly or damaged.
Link matching problem: The rate, duplex mode of the test port do not match the device being tested, or the test cable (optical jumper/net cable) is broken or wrongly selected.
3. Large test data deviation or error reporting
Possible causes:
Calibration expired: Not conducting the recommended traceability calibration every 1 year, resulting in a deviation in the test reference.
Parameter setting error: Incorrectly selecting the test standard (such as mistakenly selecting Ethernet test as SDH standard), or threshold settings beyond the normal range.
Internal module failure: Aging of the signal processing module, clock module, resulting in a decrease in data acquisition accuracy.
4. Display/keys abnormality (screen flickering, key malfunction)
Possible causes:
Display problem: Loose display wiring, or backlight board damaged; motherboard display driver chip failure.
Key problem: Oxidation/misalignment of key contacts, or poor contact between key board and motherboard connection line.
