The N4952A is an economical and compact remote head for error detection, offering configurations ranging from 4 to 17 Gb/s and 5 to 32 Gb/s. It is compatible with the N4960A serial BERT controller and is an ideal solution for testing 100 Gb Ethernet applications and other high data rate devices with each channel up to 32 Gb/s. The N4952A error detector supports PRBS or user mode and operates at a speed of up to 32 Gb/s within a single frequency band without gaps or data rate drops. The remote head allows the testing equipment to be placed very close to the device under test, without the need for long cables that would compromise signal quality.
