The 54754A has two 18-GHz channels, both with built-in TDR step generators. These two channels can be configured in synergy to provide differential-mode or common-mode TDR excitation/response; they can also be used independently. When the TDR/TDT step generator is not working, any channel can be used as a normal oscilloscope vertical system
