Description:
The 125A250 from AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is a solid-state, standalone, air-cooled, broadband amplifier with a working frequency range of 10 kHz to 250 MHz. When used in conjunction with a scanning generator, it will provide at least 125 watts of RF power with a gain exceeding 50 dB. The amplifier can be controlled from the front panel, allowing the operator to conveniently set the desired output level. It features a compact modern cabinet for desktop use or can be disassembled to install in a rack.
Feature:
Powerful output: Capable of delivering a stable continuous wave power of 125W, providing reliable RF power support within a wide frequency range of 10kHz - 250MHz, meeting the power requirements of various application scenarios.
Excellent protection mechanism: Equipped with a radio frequency input level control circuit, which can prevent radio frequency input overload. When the radio frequency input level exceeds 0 dBm, it automatically controls the radio frequency input level entering the first stage of the radio frequency amplifier. At the same time, if overheating occurs due to cooling blockage or fan failure, it will automatically cut off the direct current voltage to protect all stages of the radio frequency amplifier from damage, and through the front panel, it indicates the operating status and fault conditions.
Convenient remote control: The optional remote control kit includes GPIB/IEEE-488 format, RS-232 hardwired interface, optical fiber, USB and Ethernet interfaces. Through the bus interface connector on the rear panel, it can realize the control function and status indication of all amplifiers remotely. The local/remote switch on the front panel ensures reliable control for local or remote operation. Additionally, it is equipped with a safety interlock circuit to prevent the amplifier from entering the working mode before the external connection is completed. This can also be set using the jumper plug when this function is not needed.
