Product Description
The OCDR-1000 is a white light interferometer based on polarization optimization. It is a low-cost alternative to OFDR technology. The high dynamic range avoids the typical large reflection masking of small reflection peaks on the input surface of optical devices. A long length matching delay module can be used to match the tail fiber length of the device under test and place a measurement span of 600mm in the region of interest. The reflection dynamic range of this instrument exceeds 70 dB, and its spatial resolution is as low as 15 μm, which can help engineers and researchers view the interior of optical devices to precisely identify defects and their locations.
