Product Description:
The Keysight N7785B is a high-speed synchronous scrambler. It contains a polarization controller and a microcontroller-based drive circuit. The device can be operated in various modes such as synchronous scrambler, SOP switch and conventional scrambler.
As a Synchronous Scrambler, the device switches the SOP of the output signal in a (pseudo-) random manner. The switching of SOP occurs in several micropores.
The SOP remains stable for a predefined period of time until it switches again to the new SOP.
Electrically triggered inputs can be used to synchronize a scramler with external events.
