Product Description:
The DL9000 MSO model is Yokogawa's third-generation MSO, built on the DL9000 platform that won the "Best Test Award". It contains the most hardware/capture, display, and analysis capabilities of any MSO. To meet the growing complexity of the embedded market, the DL9000 MSO model can simultaneously monitor 4 analog channels, 32 logic inputs, 2 separate serial bus protocols for decoding, and 4 real-time mathematical tracking. In addition, Yokogawa's Advanced Data Flow Engine (ADSE) ASIC guarantees the shortest dead time of any MSO in the same setup. The Yokogawa MSO has our unique "historical memory" function, which is ideal for troubleshooting abnormal situations.
The two main challenges in developing an MSO are correlating samples between logic and analog inputs, and maintaining waveform update rates (minimizing dead time) when various oscilloscope features are enabled. The DL9000 MSO model is unmatched in these areas. Much of the logic hardware on the MSO is an afterthought, and the DL9700/9500 has always been designed to match the sampling rate and storage depth between analog and logical channels. You can be confident that the signals are correlated, and the unrestricted 5GS/s logical sampling rate means that timing uncertainty is minimal. Unlike other vendors, the DL9000 MSO models are not affected by the waveform update rate when using logical channels.
