Product Description:
The Agilent DSA-X 96204Q offers 160GS/s conversion rates and 62GHz bandwidth on two dedicated "RealEdge" channels. It can also provide a conversion rate of 80GS/s and a bandwidth of 33GHz on four synchronous channels. The block diagram of each subsystem of oscilloscope is given, and the principle of the instrument is explained. The 56Gb/s PRBS-15 signal from Centellax2G2P5A (now Agilent N4975A) is applied to the oscilloscope and the resulting data pattern is checked in real time. In addition, various oscilloscope functions are described, as well as the ability to observe bit faults at baud rates using the instrument.
Features:
33 GHz true analog bandwidth
Industry lowest oscilloscope background noise (2.15mVrms at 33 GHz, 50mV/div)
Lowest jitter measurement background (<100 fS)
The new calibration brings industry-leading spury-free dynamic range
