The combination of a bandwidth of up to 13 GHz and a sampling rate of 40 GSa/s makes the DSO81204A ideal for the following designs: PCI-Express II, Serial ATA II/III, 6 Gbs SAS, 4.25 and 8.5 Gbs Fibre Channel, 4.8 Gbs fully buffered DIMMs, or other high-speed electronic signals. The oscilloscope's full real-time bandwidth is supported by sampling rates of up to 40 GSa/s. This industry-leading sampling rate produces more accurate and repeatable measurement results, avoiding measurement errors and signal aliasing due to under-sampling. As shown above, this is especially important for high-quality jitter measurements.
