Product Overview:
The Temptronic Thermostream TP04300A is a high-power, full-featured airflow system that can quickly and precisely provide controlled temperatures for small and large equipment, modules, PCBs and components for thermal cycling, analysis and testing. Temperature range*: -80°C to +225°C.
Product Features:
Airflow: High capacity 9 l/s (18 scfm) continuous airflow optimizes temperature transition rate and throughput.
Typical temperature transition rates:
-55°C to +125°C: approximately 7 seconds
+125°C to -55°C: approximately 20 seconds
Temperature control: Air or patented DUT dual-loop directly against the DUT enclosure, with a temperature accuracy of ±0.1°C
DUT sensor ports: Four: internal diode, T-type or K-type thermocouple, and 100-ohm RTD
Temperature setting, display and resolution: ±0.1°C
Temperature accuracy: 1.0°C (calibrated according to NIST standards)
Remote interface ports: Four: IEEE-488, RS232C, SOT/EOT/SFF, Ethernet.
Color user control front panel with touchscreen or through remote interface
Two operation modes:
Operator mode: Testing and cycling in thermal/environmental/cold conditions advanced features.
Cycling mode: Utilizes up to 18 thermal cycling sequences, plotting, data logging and other advanced features.
User-defined "temperature" windows, air flow rate, air or DUT temperature control
Thermal head lift: Pneumatic control; also manually adjustable
Arm/mechanical hand movement: Manually lockable, rotates 330 degrees around the base for positioning; extends to 139 cm (55 inches)
Thermal cycling sequence: Set up to 18 cycling programs in sequence on one table.
Test setup file storage on hard drive or floppy disk for quick recall and test repeatability.
Documentation: Color plotting, automatic data logging to hard drive and/or floppy disk
Peripheral ports for user-supplied printers, monitors, keyboards and mice
All systems are CFC-free; all 50 Hz systems are HCFC-free CE Approved and SEMI S2-93A compliant

Test and cycle the DUT under various conditions, creating up to 18 cycle sequence test sets. Plotting, data logging, and printer port functions facilitate record-keeping.
For 24/7 testing environments, the TP04300A's high-capacity airflow and DUT thermal accuracy ensure high throughput and consistent repeatability. Operator mode ensures quick setup when testing at up to three temperatures.
A heat source suitable for applications requiring precise control of hot air, including ThermoFixture® enclosures/ATE interfaces for thermal testing of PCBs, modules, components, digital, high-frequency (RF, microwave), and high-power devices.
