Product Description:
Q8221 Optical Multi-functional Power Meter: It is a dual-channel insertable power meter that can be inserted into various types of optical sensors and light sources. Its high power input level is + 27 dBm, the high sensitivity can reach - 94 dBm, and the sampling rate is 100 times per second.
Q82208 Optical Sensor: It is a plug-in optical sensor for Q8221. It uses a cooled InGaAs photodiode and is suitable for optical fibers with a core diameter of 10 μm and an NA value of 0.19 or smaller, with a working wavelength range of 800 nm to 1700 nm.
Q81211 Light Source: It is a light source product of Advantest. It has a 1550nm edge-emitting LED light source with an output power of - 17 dBm, and a 1310nm FP-LD light source with an output power of 0 dBm.
Product Features:
High-precision measurement: The optical sensor of Q8221 can ensure a high accuracy of ±2.5% at calibration points. In the broadband wavelength range, by compensating the sensitivity curves of each sensor's wavelengths, it can ensure an accuracy of ±4.5% and also guarantee a linearity of ±0.5%.
High sensitivity: The optical sensor of Q82208 has a noise level as low as -94 dBm, and can measure high power up to +10 dBm with high linearity.
Low reflection: The optical sensor of Q82208 uses fiber optics with end surfaces polished at an angle to suppress reflection. The return loss is 50 dB or higher. When using PC polished connectors and combined with low-loss, high-return-loss adapters, the return loss can reach 45 dB or higher.
Flexible combination method: The two channels of Q8221 can be used independently or simultaneously. By combining different optical sensors and light sources, such as the Q82208 sensor and the Q81211 light source, various measurement requirements can be met.
