The SLS-100 Fixed Light Source is a highly configurable system with many different light source options. The SLS series has three different versions. SLS-100 is a fixed light source group, SLS-110 is a switching light source group, and SLS-120 is a fixed light source group dedicated to CWDM DFB laser sources. These systems are available in either half-rack or full-rack 2U enclosures.
The SLS-100 can be configured with up to 24 discrete leds or lasers (1mW type), or the system can be mixed and matched with different light source types, wavelengths, or fiber types to accommodate a variety of applications in a single box.
The SLS-110 is a system with one or more internal sources that can be combined and switched at the output. This is very convenient if you need to combine wavelengths from multiple ports, such as 24 channels of 1310, 1490, 1550, 1625, which is not possible in the SLS-100 series.
For dedicated CWDM applications, the SLS-120 can accommodate all ITU-T G.694.2 channels (1270 to 1610, 20nm apart) in a single box with a standard 1mW DFB source. Also available are 10mW or 20mW DFB lasers with an edge-mode rejection ratio of at least 30dB.
