The IXIA 400/400T flow generator/analyzer case is the desktop version of Ixia's flagship product, the IXIA 1600, integrating its functions and features into a highly portable configuration. This chassis features an outstanding 16-port density and can accommodate any four of Ixia's various load modules: OC-3c/12c SONET packets, Gigabit Ethernet or 10/100 Ethernet.
The IXIA 400 is equipped with a built-in Pentium-level PC for local management and control, as well as a 10/100 Ethernet interface for remote management via TCP/IP networks. The highly scalable architecture of this chassis supports daisy-chain connections for up to 256 cases, which can be synchronized within 10 nanoseconds. Therefore, even the most complex systems can undergo comprehensive and cost-effective testing.
