Product Description:
The Keithley 2400 SourceMeter SMU is a source measure unit developed to excel in applications calling for tightly-coupled sourcing and measurement performed with four-quadrant precision. Keithley 2400 SourceMeter units serve simultaneously as stable DC power supplies and 6.5 digit multimeters with all of the following features: high accuracy, low noise, readback, and high repeatability. The Keithley 2400 SMU is in effect a compact, 1-channel DC parametric test instrument. Applications include as a source of current or voltage, a current/voltage meter, an ohmmeter, and more. Component manufacturers in the communications, semiconductor, ITE, computer, automotive and medical industries rely on the Keithley SMUs for a diverse array of testing applications.
Keithley 2400 units synthesize source circuitry and measurement circuity into standalone measurement systems superior to separated test sets in several ways. Test station development, setup and maintenance is faster, sophisticated connection/synchronization issues are reduced, and the whole system only occupies a single slot on the test rack. Overall cost is lowered too—especially when renting these instruments. Other features that help the 2400 excel include mitigating GPIB traffic, simplifying remote programming, overload protection, and intuitive programmability.
