The new FTBx-5255 is the only OSA on the market that meets all application requirements in a single module. The FTBx-5245/5255 OSA test module is installed in the compact, portable FTB-2, FTB-2 Pro and FTB-4 Pro platforms, or in the rack-mounted LTB-8 platform, providing the most compact high-speed deployment and multi-service test solution on the market with all the tools needed to achieve maximum field efficiency. When equipped with a debug Assistant option or In-line pole multiplexer option, this versatile OSA can be combined with the FTBx-88200NGE Power Blazer module to become the industry's smallest single-platform OSA/ transport solution for debugging 40G/400G circuits.

High-speed DWDM testing: The EXFO FTBx-5255 is capable of measuring the OSNR (optical signal-to-noise ratio) of 10G to 400G signals, including Pol-Mux OSNR in service.
CWDM spectral analysis: Support CWDM (coarse wavelength division multiplexing) network spectral analysis.
Multi-band testing: Support for O-band (in the 1300nm region) and L-band spectral analysis, and support for pluggable transceivers (such as CFP, XFP, etc.) testing.
Integrated OSA: Integrated design for spectrum test applications, suitable for a variety of test applications such as high-speed (OSNR, etc., in 100G+ services), CWDM, O and L bands.
