The M-562-XYZ ULTRAlign™ Precision Metric Linear Stage features stainless steel construction for excellent long-term stability and thermally matched hardened steel crossed roller bearings for unmatched performance. Crossed roller bearings and precision-fabricated bearing reference surfaces provide an exceptionally linear 13 mm of travel with better than 100µrad angular deviation around any axis. We measure each platform with a six-axis interferometer to ensure performance. The shaft of each 562 stage is equipped with a non-intrusive locking mechanism to maintain sub-micron positioning when locked or unlocked. Specially designed actuator mounting blocks allow quick and easy actuator replacement on any axis, anytime, anywhere. Choose between manual or motorized actuators to build a system to meet your specific resolution requirements. The rugged design of the Series 562 stage makes it ideal for repetitive, high-use industrial manufacturing and research applications. These platforms are more thermally resistant due to their higher mass, while the larger diameter bearings increase the stiffness of the platform. Since all actuators are located below the top surface, very large loads and complex platform configurations are easily handled. A large number of M6 hole grids provide convenient mounting options. Requires three actuators sold separately.
