产品综述

AV6334系列光功率计是一种高智能化、高精度、高灵敏度的光功率计,可进行宽动态范围、高精度光功率测量、高分辨率的损耗测量和稳定度测试。配备GPIB接口和RS232接口,可组成自动测试系统。广泛用于光通信设备、光纤、光无源器件的测试,具有功率范围宽、测试精度高、性价比高、可靠性好、操作简单等特点。该产品为系列光功率计,分为AV6334AAV6334BAV6334CAV6334DAV6334E五种。

调零功能

该产品提供了用户手动调零功能。该功能可消除光电探测器的暗电流及噪声所产生的等效功率,对于-50dBm以下的微弱输入光功率,可先行遮光调零,再进行测试,这样可以提高测量精度。

量程自动、量程保持和手动切换功能

该产品提供了量程自动、量程保持和手动切换功能。用户可根据被测光功率变化范围、变化速度的不同,采取不同的量程方式进行测试。例如,对于变化范围不足10dB的输入光功率,选择量程保持功能,可节省量程自动切换方式下所消耗的时间,大大提高了测量速度。

波长响应补偿功能

为满足用户对全波段范围内的功率测试,该产品内置了与光电探测器相符的波长响应补偿曲线。另外,该产品还可根据用户的特殊要求,对某些特殊波长点进行精确校准。

数据存储、回看、输出功能

Description:

The AV6334 optical power meter is a high-intelligence, high-precision, high-sensitivity optical power meter that can perform wide dynamic range, high-precision optical power measurement, high-resolution loss measurement, and stability testing. Equipped with GPIB interface and RS232 interface, can form an automatic test system. It is widely used in the testing of optical communication equipment, optical fiber, and optical passive devices. It has the characteristics of wide power range, high test accuracy, high cost performance, good reliability, and simple operation. This product is a series of optical power meters, which are divided into five types: AV6334A, AV6334B, AV6334C, AV6334D, and AV6334E.

  This product provides user manual zero adjustment function. This function can eliminate the equivalent power generated by the dark current and noise of the photodetector. For the weak input optical power below -50dBm, the light can be zero-adjusted before the test, which can improve the measurement accuracy.
● Range automatic, range hold and manual switching function
  The product provides range automatic, range hold and manual switching functions. The user can adopt different range methods to test according to the different change range and speed of the measured optical power. For example, for input optical power with a change range of less than 10dB, selecting the range hold function can save time consumed in the automatic range switching mode and greatly improve the measurement speed.
● Wavelength response compensation function In
  order to meet the user's power test in the full band range, the product has a built-in wavelength response compensation curve consistent with the photodetector. In addition, the product can also accurately calibrate some special wavelength points according to the special requirements of users.
● Data storage,

● Split ratio and split loss test function
  The AV6334B and AV6334C optical power meters in this product series also provide users with a split ratio and split loss test function, which is very suitable for power distribution and power loss monitoring during the production of passive optical devices such as optical couplers.
● Parameter setting function
  For convenient testing, the product provides parameter setting functions, such as user-defined wavelength λ, relative measurement reference power value REF, user calibration factor CAL, GPIB address, split ratio setting CPLR, clock CLOCK and other parameters , Users can set according to their needs.
● Measurement application function
  This product provides measurement application functions for user convenience, such as measuring extreme value MAX, extreme value MIN, extreme value DIF function, which can be used for testing related to the stability of input optical power.
● GPIB and RS232 interface function
  This product provides GPIB interface and RS232 interface. RS232 interface can be used for real-time output of measurement data. The GPIB interface can be used to form an automatic test system with other GPIB equipment and a PC.
Typical application one: use the AV6334 optical power meter to measure the output optical power of the light source and the stability of the output optical power.
  Connect the power output port of the light source and the power input port of the optical power meter with an optical fiber jumper, start up and preheat, set the measurement wavelength of the optical power meter to be consistent with the center wavelength of the light source, then the measured display value is the size of the light output power .
  According to the test requirements, select one of the three functions of extreme value MAX test, extreme value MIN test, and extreme value DIFF test provided by the measurement application, start the operation, and at the same time, the instrument clock starts timing from zero. Within the specified measurement time, the optical power meter can automatically test and record the measured value. When the measurement time expires, the extreme value test is stopped, and the displayed value of the extreme value measurement is the stability of the output optical power of the light source.
Typical application two: use AV6334 optical power meter to measure the split ratio of the optical coupler.
  Connect the output port of the light source and the input end of the optical coupler with an optical fiber jumper. Connect the two output ends of the optical coupler to the two input channels of the AV6334B or AV6334C optical power meter with optical fiber jumpers. Press the "Mode" key, the optical power meter enters the split ratio test mode from the normal measurement mode, and the measured value displayed by the instrument is the split ratio and the total power loss. This special function provided by the AV6334B or AV6334C for users is very suitable for power distribution and power lossmonitoring during the production of passive optical devices such as optocouplers.
