8970B noise factor tester uncovers the mystery of noise factor measurement, making the measurement easier, accurate and repeatable. And it can be used with series 346 or 347 noise sources. With low instrument uncertainty and automatic second-stage correction, the 8970B is capable of generating accurate noise factor readings even for low-gain devices. The instrument provides a dedicated measurement mode for mixer measurement, and can control the external local oscilloscope and 8971C noise factor testing device.
