Product Introduction:
MT8821C supports additional functional testing, such as high throughput testing. With eight separate RF transceiver ports, a single system can perform LTE-Advanced carrier aggregation (CA) using 2×2 MIMO up to three component carriers (CC). Up to four component carriers (CC) with 2×2 MIMO will be supported in the future, conforming to 3GPP standards. The built-in RF combination simplifies complex test environment configuration for LTE-Advanced CA while reducing the calibration procedure for the test environment.
MT8821C is the award-winning successor to MT8820C, which is widely used by 2G / 3G, LTE UE and chipset developers worldwide. It offers improved functionality, greater platform integration and an updated user interface, and because it is backward compatible with MT8820C, it capitalizes on the previous investment and reduces the cost of configuring an automated test environment after moving to MT8821C.
