The SPT-3U chassis is designed based on the next-generation mobile chassis architecture, and its design goal is to meet the current and future complex multi-protocol scale and cloud virtualization test requirements. The SPT-3U chassis supports all Spirent TestCenterHyperMetrics modules up to 100 Gbps. With ultra-large scale, green low single-port power consumption, intelligent fan control, and full support for *4 and *6 control, the SPT-3U chassis provides the foundation for today's high-performance mobile test systems.
With no bottlenecks created by a central operating system or slow software proxy servers, the SPT-3U switched Ethernet backplane design can optimize efficiency and performance when configuring tests and collecting results from multi-user or automated processes. This architectural approach enables fast test times and eliminates the need to manage a virus-vulnerable operating system in the chassis. The SPT-3U features an innovative Android®-based touchscreen for easier chassis status monitoring and configuration.
