Thorlabs (Thorlabs) MX70G is an electro-optic converter, belonging to the MX70G series. This series has a frequency response of 70GHz. The MX70G integrates an enterprise-grade lithium niobate (LiNbO₃) modulator, which can be connected to an internal tunable laser source, a fixed wavelength laser source, or an external laser source with wavelengths ranging from 1250nm to 1610nm through the PM FC/PC optical fiber connector on the input panel. It is driven by an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) touchscreen and can be remotely controlled via the RS-232 or USB connection on the back panel. This instrument also includes an automatic bias controller that can stabilize the modulator's operating state. Additionally, each MX70G electro-optic converter comes with a *.s2p file for characterizing its frequency response, facilitating the de-embedding measurement of the tested optical device.
