LUNA PBPD-001 is a polarization-balanced light detector specially designed for systems such as polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography (OCT). It can separately analyze the two polarization components of the input signal, which helps to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the system. Characteristics
Appearance design: It is encapsulated in a compact and sturdy aluminum housing with dimensions of 100mm × 80mm × 27mm. It features two optical input ports, one balanced radio frequency (RF) output port, two monitoring ports for each polarization component, and a 12V DC power port.
Performance parameters: The wavelength range is 1310nm or 1550nm ± 50nm, the polarization crosstalk is less than 25dB, the transimpedance gain is 3×10⁴V/A, the signal conversion gain is greater than 30V/mW (interference signal), the RF output bandwidth (3dB) is from DC to 210MHz, the continuous wave balanced saturation power is greater than 150μW, the common mode suppression ratio is greater than 25dB, and the RF output voltage range (50Ω load) is ±1.75V.
Product features: It has low noise, high common mode suppression ratio, high conversion gain, and wide bandwidth. It is small in size and easy to integrate into various systems.
