Description:
Santec has launched the UV-resistant Spatial Light Modulator (SLM-250). This product is the world's first two-dimensional SLM, extending its application to the ultraviolet range. The UV-hardened SLM-250 has 42 times the ultraviolet durability compared to standard SLM devices. With a power density of up to 10mW/cm2, the novel liquid crystal and dielectric mirror design can be used. This SLM-250 follows the popular first generation, Santec model HD-LCOS, SLM-150. The SLM-150 is suitable for various scientific and industrial applications, including beam shaping, wavefront correction, and optical operations.
Feature:
High resolution: The SLM-250 supports wide-screen super-expanded graphic array (1920×1200) and high-definition (1920×1080) video resolutions, offering Full HD resolution.
High power density: The optical power handling capacity of SLM-250 is 40 MW/cm², with a peak power of 10 mW/cm² (@365nm), and it can operate continuously for 24 hours.
High phase stability: Compared with conventional products on the market, SLM-250 offers 4 times the resolution of gray levels and 10 times the phase stability.
Ultraviolet resistance performance: The ultraviolet tolerance specification of SLM-250 is 42 times higher than that of others, making it suitable for applications involving ultraviolet light sources.
Response time: The typical response time is 50 ms, suitable for high-speed phase modulation scenarios.
Application:
Beam steering
Wavefront correction
Pulse/beam shaping
Diffraction optics
Optical manipulation
Programmable phase mode
