The power meter and the MU931431A optical sensor are calibrated to an absolute value of +30dBm, making it possible to measure high-power optical signals with outstanding accuracy.
The device has a low polarimetric related loss (PDL) of less than 0.01dB and can be traced directly to the UK's National Physical Laboratory (NPL), making it ideal for measuring optical power such as EDFA and Raman amplifiers, as well as pumped laser sources. a
The device can be used with the MT9810A Optical Test Set or with the MT9812B multichannel box when option 01 is installed.
