Product Description:
Computer numerical control image measurement system realizes non-contact automatic measurement based on the image captured by CCD camera. Correct detection of workpiece boundaries and points ensures accurate measurement. In addition, TTL laser autofocus measures height and cross-section profiles.
The "NEXIV" series of image measurement systems uses advanced measurement technology developed by Nikon over the years to accurately measure boundaries. Factories need to automate, quickly and accurately measure a large number of products throughout the evaluation process. Nikon Systems provides a strong backup for large-scale manufacturing, contributing to the quality of products such as injection molds, mechanical parts, IC chips and electronic components.
TTL laser autofocus
TTL (lens coaxial) laser autofocus uses the reflection of the laser beam to measure distance. The laser beam is projected through the lens onto the object and then reflected back into the system. With this innovative development, the Nikon system can accurately detect small areas at low magnification and measure complex 3D stereoscopic shapes. In addition, the boundaries of transparent objects can now be detected through TTL laser autofocus, allowing the VMZ-S series to measure samples as low as 0.1mm in thickness, such as LCD protective films. Because of the low reflectivity of laser beams, it has been difficult to detect the boundaries of such objects in the past.
