Product Overview:
The Multi-Application Platform (MAP-200) tunable Distributed Bragg Reflector (DBR) laser (mTLG-B1) is a next-generation tunable laser that is ideal for DWDM testing, where the wavelength must be changed on demand in the C and L bands (50 GHz apart).
The MAP - 200 was the first to conform to the LAN ExtensionsforInstrumentation (LXI) standard photonic layer of laboratory and manufacturing platform, will all functions of the Ethernet connection and interchangeable virtual instrument (IVI) driver ease introduce optical test environment. The MAP-200 platform offers industry-leading density and configurability to meet specific application requirements with minimal footprint.
The new mTLG-B1 is based on a sampled grating Distributed Bragg Reflector (SG-DBR) laser with an integrated wavelength lock. The wavelength and output power Settings are controlled using the MAP-200 local or automated interface. Integrated wavelocker and automatic power control loop provide stable operation.
