The UMP-360 DCC is a real-time measuring machine controller that uses Intel's 486 processor family. It incorporates controller firmware that has been developed to include a proprietary real-time operating system as well as monitoring functions and controls a range of measuring machine functions, including machine axle scale tracking, touch trigger probe interface and probe attachment management, real-time maintenance of multiple coordinate reference frame probes for parts, components and assemblies, system monitoring of controllers and machine error conditions. This controller monitors air pressure and temperature thermistors. The multi-scale type can be used with the UMP-360 control system. Two types of operator control units can be used with this control system.
