Product Overview:
The ShockLine™ MS46522B series is a 2-port performance vector network analyzer. The family delivers unprecedented levels of value and performance, reduces test costs and accelerates time to market for numerous test applications up to 92 GHz, including: manufacturing and validating mobile network equipment and devices for 5G millimeter wave applications; Automobile cable; High-speed data interconnection; And system integration components.
The ShockLine MS46522B series is configured with options 10, 20 or 43, bringing RF to microwave frequency capabilities to the series. These frequency options, combined with the powerful shockline software, provide a cost-effective solution for the most challenging passive device testing.
Options 82 and 83 are E-band frequency options for the ShockLine MS46522B VNA. These options take performance, cost and convenience to a new level using a tethered source/measurement module that is unprecedented in the market. Option 82 comes with a 1-meter tether for desktop applications and Option 83 comes with a 5-meter tether for over-the-air (OTA) darkroom installation. For applications that require only E-band frequency coverage, the ShockLine MS46522B 55-92 GHz mmwave option is the most valuable product on the market for mass-market production of E-band components.
For applications requiring time domain analysis, options 2 and 22 are available on the MS46522B VNA. Option 2 supports real-time bandpass and low-pass time domain functions. The low-pass time domain enables a TDR-like display, showing the true impedance over distance or time. Option 22 equips the ShockLine MS46522B with a file-based signal integrity (SI) tool for debugging SI problems and verifying circuit models.
The 8.5 GHz ShockLine MS46522B VNA model has an additional bias tee option, Option 61, which allows the user to provide DC power to the bias device during testing.
The series includes a computer and power supply located in a compact 3U tall case and uses the same GUI, software, command syntax, drivers, and programming environment as the rest of the ShockLine series.
