Product Description:
The Fluke 5220A transconductance amplifier allows you to calibrate AC or DC meters and shunts, as well as current functions for digital multimeters up to 20A.
The 5220A is designed to be controlled by 5700A or 5100 Series B calibrators, but can be driven by other voltage sources such as 5200A. When used with the 5100 Series B, the current range of these instruments is extended by 10 to 1.
Protection is designed to eliminate problems caused by over-input, open-circuit input, and over-compliance. The indicator light on the front panel informs the user of any of these situations. If the internal temperature rises excessively, it will automatically shut down.
The drive voltage of the 5220A can be introduced through the front panel of the rear panel. The connector on the back makes the 5220A an extension of the current range of the 5700A or 5100 B series calibrators. The two instruments operate as an integrated calibration system with all the benefits of a single point of control calibration.
