Product Description:
The TG39B series of multi-TV format test signal generators are designed to support the test requirements of eight TV formats - NTSC, NTSC-50 Hz, NTSC-4.43 MHz, PAL, PAL-60 Hz, PAL-M, PAL-N and SECAM. The generated video signals are composite video and GBR signals, or YCBCR and S-VHS (Y/C) signals. They are also equipped with SCART connector outputs (European systems) and combination capabilities with a maximum number of combination modes exceeding the eighth power of 50.
The RF part generates RF signals from 30 MHz to 955 MHz. The setup of RF signals includes frequency setting, specifying input channels (VHF, UHF, and CATV), and the channel can be easily set even if its frequency is not known. When the channel is specified and set, the standard characters of the device can be superimposed on the screen. The device also has surface acoustic wave filters (SAW filters) built into each TV system to provide high precision quality for all broadcast standards. Because the visual carrier and the sound carrier have the inversion function; The device is also available for the French LOW channel (SECAM-L system only).
Product Features:
The TG39B signal generator is equipped with more than 100 standard video output signals, including monochrome mode, color bars, stairs, multi-burst and white signals, making it ideal for checking resolution, color reproducibility, frequency response, linearity, signal-to-noise ratio and more. The generator can be used in many systems because it not only provides a variety of mode selection functions for video signals, including on/off switching for burst signals, switching between color and monochrome, switching between interline and non-interline modes (262 lines/field or 312 lines/field), and switching aspect ratios between 4:3 or 16:9, but also the scrolling function.
Equipped with an external video input connector and an external audio input, the TG39B signal generator also includes models equipped with sound MPX, teletext TV, and closed captioning capabilities, making it the ideal choice for a signal generator that fully meets any customer requirement.
Not only the versatility of the TV system and signal selection was pursued, but also useful functions and switch arrangements were considered from the point of view of ease of operation. As a signal source for R&D, production facilities, and any other place where extensive test signals are required.
