Product introduction:
Agilent 4395A provides excellent vector network, spectrum, and optional impedance measurements for laboratory and production applications. The gain, phase, group delay, distortion, spurious, CN, and noise measurements commonly required to evaluate components and circuits can be made using a single instrument. When used in conjunction with a test unit, it provides reflection measurements such as return loss, SWR, and S parameters. As a vector network analyzer, Agilent 4395A operates in the frequency range of 10 Hz to 500 MHz with a resolution of 1 mHz. Its integrated synthetic source provides output power of -50 to +15dBm with resolution of 0.1dB. Dynamic amplitude and phase accuracy are +/-0.05dB and +/-0.3deg. So that it can accurately measure the gain and group delay flatness, which are becoming increasingly important in modern electronic systems. As a spectrum analyzer, its operating frequency range is 10 Hz to 500 MHz, and the resolution bandwidth (RBW) is 1-3-10 steps across 1 Hz to 1 MHz. A fully synthesized local oscillator allows for stable and accurate frequency analysis. Direct A/D conversion (without using logarithmic amplifiers) results in +/ -0.8dB level accuracy (@50 MHz, -20 dBm). The noise sideband is lower than -100 dBc/ Hz@100 kHz carrier offset, and the sensitivity is -145 dBm/Hz at 10 MHz.
