Product Description:
The LP-05A five-axis lens positioner provides accurate positioning of 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) optical components in five dimensions. Precision 100 TPI adjusting screws with knobs contain an integral hexagonal hole for smooth adjustment and increased sensitivity. Our zero-clearance XY mechanism ensures precise positioning and enhances long-term stability without relying on grease to occupy the gaps between sliding elements, reducing drift in time and temperature. Independent locks for each translation and rotation axis securely lock the mechanism, not just the actuators' screws, thus maintaining a stable optical alignment. Meshing or loosening each lock has negligible effects on the other axes. This five-axis (XYZθXθY) model provides smooth XYZ translation as well as true balance around two orthogonal coplanar axes. Five independent degrees of freedom allow you to position optical elements precisely in any plane along any axis. The threaded center hole accommodates optical element clasps and various optical element brackets for simple lenses, objectives or other optical elements. Each unit is equipped with two scratch-resistant Delrin clasps and an optical bracket. All LP series lens positioners can be secured to the workbench by using the included slotted substrate, which can be attached to either side of the adjustment frame. Both imperial and metric threaded holes at the bottom allow for rod mounting, allowing easy adjustment of its optical shaft height and azimuth direction. It has an optical axis height of 2 inches.
Features:
Pure Z-axis motion can be achieved without rotating the lens
Optical elements can be positioned precisely in any plane along any axis
More than just brake screws, thus maintaining stable optical alignment
