The R&S®CMW-Z10 shielding wire is made of strong aluminum and closes in the set position with a handle. The bottom and cover plate will not be deformed under normal conditions. This ensures uniform compression of the seals around the entire enclosure - an important prerequisite for effective RF shielding. The cover plate is lined with absorbent material to minimize reflection.

Up to 6 GHz
The R&S®CMW-Z10 RF test box is suitable for signal use up to 6GHz, which covers all common wireless standards such as GSM, UMTS, WLAN, Bluetooth® and GPS. The R&S®CMW-Z10 RF test box provides excellent shielding to minimize external interference. The R&S® CMW-Z110 RF cable has excellent shielding capability for frequencies above 4GHz.
Ultra-low reflection
• The cover of the R&S®CMW-Z10 RF test box is lined with a wave absorbing material to minimize reflection. Strong reflection will cause large attenuation changes, so that the attenuation of the measured part in different positions is inconsistent. With the R&S®CMW-Z10 RF test box, the test component can be placed anywhere in the R&S®CMW-Z11 antenna coupler, and the reflected signal has little impact on attenuation.
Modular option concept and flexible module configuration
• The R&S®CMW-Z10 RF test enclosure has four module slots for connecting different optional modules. Currently available options include a D-through connector (R&S®CMW-Z12), a USB through-connector (R&S®CMW-Z13), and a double N-connector (R&S®CMW-Z14). All modules are optimized. Thus, their impact on the shielding characteristics is minimized. The module slots are identical, allowing each module to be inserted into any slot. Therefore, the optional connector can be set freely. Customer made modules can also be inserted.
The large space allows the selection of the best position, even if the part under test is very large
• The parts under test can be placed almost anywhere in the RF shielding box, which means that even large parts under test, such as development printed circuit boards, can be placed. Its large enough space allows the tested part to be placed in the position with the least coupling attenuation between the tester and the tester.

• The R&S®CMW-Z10 can withstand the difficult measurement conditions encountered in service, its hinges and dampers are extremely robust, and the aluminum housing has a high resistance to deformation, ensuring that the shielding box can still close accurately after long-term use.
