The OSA20 is the fastest spectral analyzer in its class, with a maximum scan speed of 2000 nm/s and a fixed sampling resolution of 2 pm for all scans. This means that every measurement is taken at the highest resolution and with the highest precision. The scanning speed is entirely dependent on the choice of sensitivity level: -55 dBm at 2000 nm/s, down to -90 dBm for an average of 380 scans at a HIGH of 0.5 nm/s. With a scan rate of approximately 3 scans per second covering the C+L band (sensitivity of -60 dBm), the OSA20 is an ideal tool for fast, precise optical alignment and high-resolution characterization.
The OSA20 brings spectral testing to the 21st Century with a 12-inch capacitive multi-touch screen, an industry first, and an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) that enables quick navigation and scrolling through individual Settings menus. With pinching and scaling gestures and automatic signal search algorithms, getting interesting data has never been easier! A keyboard, mouse, or hard drive can also be used through many USB interfaces.
