Fault point: No scan line
Reason analysis:
Failure of the power supply circuit, oscilloscope tube circuit, trigger scan circuit, or X-axis amplifier: Abnormal operation of these parts may cause the oscilloscope to fail to produce scan voltage properly, and thus fail to form scan lines.
Enhancement channel (Z channel) failure: If the difference between the grid potential and the cathode potential of the oscilloscope tube is abnormal, or the enhancement signal does not reach the oscilloscope tube grid correctly, it may also result in no scan line. This is usually related to the failure of the high-voltage power supply or the oscilloscope tube filament circuit.
Fault point: The scanning line gradually darkens
Reason analysis:
High voltage power supply failure: The filter capacitor performance of the high voltage power supply deteriorates or the insulation layer of the high voltage lead deteriorates, which may lead to high voltage leakage, which affects the focusing and brightness stability of the oscilloscope tube.
Oscilloscope tube filament circuit failure: If the transformer winding to the ground insulation performance is poor, will form a negative high voltage leakage, so that the absolute value of the negative pressure of the cathode decreases, the absolute value of the potential difference between the grid and the cathode increases, resulting in darkening of the scan line.
