product description:
The network analyzer can provide different test setting options so that the optimized configuration of the test device is adaptable to the application. It is a "positive" or "passive" test set for a 4 GHz analyzer and can have a characteristic impedance of 50 or 75 ohms. A 50 Euro passive test device is standard. With the active test set, the DUT can be biased directly through the inner conductor of the test port. The 8 GHz models ZVCE and ZVC are always equipped with a 50-watt active test set. Depending on the model, the test set includes one or two power splitters, electronic switches and one or two standing wave ratio bridges or directional couplers. Additional step attenuator (0 dB to 70 dB, components marked in red below) generator can be divided into two measurement paths and channels inserted into the receiver to extend the power range to +27 dBm and lower output Power-95 dBm. When the test set is installed with an attenuator and external measurement options (part marking, green in the drawing below), the generator and receiver can alternately switch the three ports on the panel (output A1, input B1, input B2). This increases the output power, sensitivity and dynamic range and measurement down to 10 Hz can be performed on 4 GHz models. In addition, flexibility on external test sets, such as the use of external preamplifiers, is enhanced. The reference channel port (components below the blue mark on the drawing) allows to feed the signal of A1 outside the reference channel. This function facilitates, for example, a converted frequency and phase measurement device. The test ports are equipped with female N connections.
