Product overview
The 81623C features a 5mm diameter germanium detector for a wide wavelength range of 750-1800nm with a power measurement range of + 10 to -80dBm. It can be connected to the 81618A single-channel or 81619A dual-channel interface module for use with multi-channel hosts such as 8163B, 8164B and 8166B, and is mainly used for accurate optical power measurement in areas such as optical communication.
Product characteristics
Wide wavelength range: covering the wavelength range of 750-1800nm, it can meet the optical power measurement needs of a variety of optical communication systems and related optical experiments at different wavelengths.
High measurement accuracy: After special calibration, the uncertainty of the measurement is ±2.5% in the wavelength range of 800-1000nm and ±1.7% in the wavelength range of 1000-1650nm.
Rich features: Average time setting from 100μs to 10s, automatic power range, minimum and maximum monitoring functions, and can record up to 20,000 samples, convenient for users to flexibly set and data processing according to actual measurement needs.
The connector interface is flexible: its fiber adaptors can be used for common connector types, including MT strip fiber connectors and bare fiber clamps. The probe also includes a removable 81624DD adapter ring for threaded adapters and a magnetically fixed type D adapter for quick adapter replacement to meet the needs of different connection modes.
