Product Description:
The N7744A optical power meter has 4 power probe channels and is developed using LXI technology, conforming to the LXI C standard. It employs an InGaAs sensor, with a wavelength range of 1250-1650nm and a power measurement range typically ranging from -80dBm to +10dBm. This instrument is equipped with a unique N7740 optical fiber connectivity concept, namely a four-core cable adapter with an elastic snap-in quick-lock mechanism, supporting MU, FC, SC, LC and bare fiber connector connections.
Product Features:
High-speed measurement: The minimum average time is 1µs, the bandwidth is up to 240kHz, and the continuous data recording and reading speed per port can reach 1MSa/s, enabling high-speed measurement data acquisition.
Large dynamic range: The dynamic range in sweep frequency and recording applications is up to 65dB, without the need to switch the range, which can meet various measurement requirements.
High-precision measurement: The power uncertainty is ±2.5%, the polarization correlation is low, the typical value is <±0.01dB, and the measurement results are accurate and stable.
Flexible connection method: The design of the four-core cable adapter enables the tested device to be easily connected even when the instrument is measuring other equipment, and it can avoid connection errors or damage to the connector.
Data recording and transmission: Each port is equipped with a 1M sample memory and a 1M sample cache, allowing for continuous recording. It supports LAN, USB and GPIB programming interfaces, facilitating remote control and data transmission.
