Product Introduction:
The Agilent multi-wavelength meter series 86120C is an effective tool for developing, manufacturing, installing and verifying optical components and networks for next-generation applications. The Agilent multi-wavelength meter is an instrument based on the Michelson interferometer, which measures the wavelength and optical power of lasers within a specified wavelength range. It can also measure multiple laser lines simultaneously, allowing for the measurement of DWDM signals and multiple Fabry-Perot lasers. The measurement range is wide: the rated wavelength range is 700 - 1650 nm, and the working wavelength range is 700 - 1700 nm, covering all fiber-to-the-home, urban and long-distance transmission systems.
The measurement accuracy is high: the wavelength accuracy is ±1.5 ppm, and the typical value within the temperature range of 15°C to 35°C is ±1 ppm. It can accurately measure the channels in precise WDM systems, monitor the wavelength changes of channels and the crosstalk between adjacent channels. The measurement speed is fast: the scan repetition time is less than 0.6 seconds, and the fast wavelength scanning can significantly increase the speed of testing optical equipment and the relationship between wavelength and the equipment, making it an ideal choice for achieving fast and automated wavelength adjustment. The input power range is large: it has a + 18 dBm safe input level, and can measure up to + 10 dBm of optical power without the need for other devices such as attenuators, which can be directly used for transmitter testing. Built-in standard light source: it has a HeNe excitation light source, which can ensure accurate wavelength measurement at any time according to the natural standard, ensuring precise and repeatable experimental results.
