The 2510-AT and TEC SourceMeter SMU instruments enhance Keithley's CW (continuous wave) testing solutions, used for high-speed LIV (light - current - voltage) testing of semiconductor laser tube modules. These 50W bipolar instruments were developed in close collaboration with the leading manufacturers of semiconductor laser tube modules for optical fiber telecommunications networks. The 2510-AT model is designed to ensure strict temperature control of the tested equipment and is the first in a highly specialized instrument series specifically designed for telecommunications semiconductor laser tube testing. It integrates Keithley's expertise in high-speed DC power supplies and measurements, and is capable of precisely controlling the operation of the thermal electric cooler or TEC (sometimes referred to as a Peltier device) of the semiconductor laser tube module.
