Product Description
The Keithley 6430 is a sub-fA remote programmable source meter that combines source measurement unit functionality with ultra-high sensitivity. It integrates voltage sources, current sources, and measurement capabilities, outperforming traditional electrometers in terms of performance. It is specifically designed for high-precision measurement scenarios involving low currents and high resistances. With unique designs such as a remote preamplifier, it is widely used in semiconductor testing, single-electron transistor research, and high-resistance nanomaterial analysis in both scientific research and laboratory settings. It can not only meet the needs of rapid component characteristic analysis but also be compatible with the setup of automated testing systems, providing a stable and reliable solution for measuring tiny signals.
Key Features
Current Measurement: The measurement range covers 10aA - 100mA, with a 1pA range having a peak-to-peak noise of only 0.4fA. Combined with similar locking technology, it can achieve a 1aA sensitivity measurement, accurately capturing weak current signals.
Voltage and Resistance Measurement: The voltage range is 0 - ±200V and the measurement range is 1µV - 200V. The resistance measurement range is 1µΩ - >20TΩ. The high input impedance ensures the accuracy of low-level voltage measurements.
Remote Preamplifier Design: The amplifier can be placed close to the signal source and connected to the host via a 2-meter cable, significantly reducing noise interference from cable transmission and ensuring the accuracy of weak signal measurements.
High-Speed Measurement Performance: The reading speed is up to 2000 per second and can be stored in the memory buffer. The 100nA range can respond to signals as short as 5ms, while the larger range can respond to signals as short as several microseconds, improving testing efficiency.
