Product Overview:
The HP 8903B audio analyzer integrates the functions of a low-distortion audio source, a high-performance distortion analyzer, a frequency counter, an AC voltmeter, a DC voltmeter, and a SINAD meter (signal-to-noise and distortion ratio meter) into one unit. Through microprocessor control of the source and analyzer, it can automatically perform excitation-response measurements, such as signal-to-noise ratio and scanning distortion, without the need for additional equipment.
Product Features:
Rich measurement functions: It can measure various parameters such as distortion, SINAD, signal-to-noise ratio, true RMS AC voltage, DC voltage, frequency, etc. It also has effective value, average value and peak value detection functions, which can meet the needs of various audio measurements. Wide frequency range: The measurement frequency range is 20Hz to 100kHz, which can cover most of the frequency range of audio signals and is suitable for the testing of various audio devices. High measurement accuracy: Within the range of 20Hz to 20KHz, the typical accurate distortion measurement value can be as low as -90dB (0.003%), providing high-precision measurement results for parameters such as audio signal distortion. Simple operation: Most measurements only require pressing 1 or 2 buttons, and it has automatic tuning and automatic range functions, which can ensure the highest accuracy and resolution, while in all AC measurement modes, it can record and display the input frequency, facilitating quick confirmation of the input signal. Flexible input methods: You can choose balanced or unbalanced input methods. The balanced analyzer input can test bridge power amplifiers and other devices with floating outputs, with the maximum input voltage being 300 volts (differential or applied to high or low input). Diverse filtering functions: It has two internal insertable filter slots, and each slot can insert one of the 6 selected filters. The standard configuration includes 30kHz and 80kHz low-pass filters, providing a filtering network that meets international standards, simplifying audio measurements. Flexible display methods: Results can be displayed in linear or logarithmic form by using the LOG/LIN keys. In logarithmic mode, the readings for AC measurements are displayed in dBm units, and the ratio keys can be used to display in dB or as a percentage relative to the input or measured value, facilitating measurements such as frequency response and 3dB bandwidth.
