The Agilent 81613A is a Return‑Loss (RL) module for optical fiber component testing, intended for use with Agilent 8163, 8164, and 8166 series lightwave instruments. It plugs directly into the mainframe to measure return loss and insertion loss of single‑mode fiber devices. The module incorporates dual internal laser sources at 1310 nm and 1550 nm, together with a power‑monitor diode that simultaneously records incident and reflected power. It also accepts an external light source and is factory‑calibrated for plug‑and‑play operation
