Product Description
The Luna OCDR-1000 is an Optical Coherence Domain Reflectometer designed to obtain space-resolved reflection information inside fiber optical components, such as Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs), for diagnosing quality or design issues. It is based on a polarization-optimized white light interferometer and serves as a low-cost alternative to OFDR (Optical Frequency Domain Reflectometry) technology. Its high dynamic range avoids the masking of small internal reflection peaks by the large reflections typical of an optical device's input surface, allowing clear visualization of internal details. The measurement range is 600 mm (in air). A set of length matching delay modules is available to adjust the measurement window and precisely place the 600 mm measurement span over the region of interest within the device under test (e.g., inside a PIC chip).
