Product Description
MMS-201 is an upgraded and replacement model of MMS-101, specifically designed to address the unevenness of multi-mode fiber output speckles. It utilizes General Photonics' patented technology, enabling multi-mode spots to rapidly and randomly change over time through high-frequency dynamic mode modulation. When the detector integration time is greater than 80 ms, the output light field presents a uniform and stable distribution. The entire machine adopts a fully fiber-optic optical path structure, with the fibers undergoing special surface treatment to resist bending and prevent stress fractures. It supports FC/PC or FC/APC interfaces and standard 50/125 μm step-index multi-mode optical fibers. The working wavelength covers 530–1630 nm, making it an ideal choice for DNA sequencing, multi-mode fiber sensing, multi-mode device testing and measurement, MM-SM coupling, etc.
Key features
Ultra-wide spectral compatibility: wavelength range from 530 nm to 1630 nm, covering visible light to near-infrared, suitable for various light sources;
Efficient and stable mode modulation: standard modulation frequency of 22 kHz (optional 150 kHz version is also available), modulation efficiency > 80%; flatness < 20%, ripple < 10%; insertion loss ≤ 1 dB (635 nm), return loss PC > 50 dB, APC > 55 dB; can withstand 400 mW optical power;
Strong electrical controllability: 24 V DC power supply, with TTL level enable/disable interfaces (high level / open circuit enables, low level disables), facilitating system integration and remote control;
