Description:
The Rodhe & Schwarz FSPN8 phase noise analyzer and VCO tester have very high sensitivity and measurement accuracy, and provide the highest reliability. With its extremely high measurement speed and ease of use, it is the perfect instrument for efficient phase noise analysis tasks in R&D and production lines. With its low-noise internal local oscillator, the Rodhe & Schwarz FSPN8 can measure the phase noise on highly stable sources (such as synthesizers, VCO, OCXO and DRO) in radar and satellite applications without any additional options.
With excellent phase noise sensitivity, the Rodhe & Schwarz FSPN8 requires a hundred times less correlation than other solutions on the market to measure highly sensitive oscillators. This saves measurement time and doubles the measurement throughput, which are two core parameters of the production line. It can simultaneously measure amplitude noise and phase noise, and display the results of both measurements in a public chart or a separate window. The Rodhe & Schwarz FSPN8 offers a bandwidth of up to 8 GHz for the detailed characteristics of synthesizers, such as the stabilization time after frequency jumps, ramp, switching time, etc. For narrowband verification, it can provide narrowband analysis as low as 40 MHz. It also has a triggering function that enables reproducible measurement of phase or frequency deviations.
