The Keysight 11970A waveguide mixer is a universal harmonic mixer that adopts a dual diode design, enabling a flat frequency response and low down-conversion loss. It can achieve these indicators without the need for external DC bias or tuning branches. Since no mixer bias or tuning adjustments are required, both manual operation and computer-controlled hardware operations become simpler.
The 11970A can extend the frequency range of the Keysight N9030A PXA high-performance signal analyzer to the A band (26.5 to 40 GHz). It is also fully compatible with other Keysight spectrum analyzers, including: E4440A/46A/48A PSA (with option AYZ), E4407B ESA-E (with option AYZ), 856xEC, 8566B (with preamplifier), and 7000 modular analyzer (with 70907A/B external mixer interface module).
An external duplexer is required to connect the 11970A and the N9030A PXA (with option EXM). It is recommended to purchase Keysight's N9029AE13 or OML's DPL.313B duplexer.
