The waveShaper 4000S multi-port optical processor is a 1x4/4x1 programmable optical filter that can fully control the amplitude and phase characteristics of the filter.
The waveShaper 4000S series covers the entire C band or L band or the C + L band. It combines precise control over the wavelength, bandwidth, shape and phase of the filters, and is capable of switching and combining multiple signals in an "add" or "drop" configuration.
In the simplest application, the WaveShaper 4000S is a fully programmable flat-top optical filter. Its bandwidth can be programmed from 10 GHz to the entire C+L frequency band (depending on the model) in increments of 1 GHz, and the center frequency can be programmed in increments of 1 GHz throughout the frequency band. It also supports band-stop and optical comb filters, as well as up to 35 dB attenuation control per channel.
