Product Description:
The N1078A optical/electrical clock recovery function receives incoming data or clock signals, uses a phase-locked loop (PLL) circuit to lock the signal, and outputs the recovered clock. The recovered clock can be used as a timing reference for oscilloscopes (such as the N1000A and N1090A, N1092 series and N1094 series DCA-M oscilloscopes) or BERTS.
The N1078A can handle NRZ and PAM4 signals. With an optional external hardware equalizer, such as the equalizer provided in the N1027A-76A kit, you can perform "closed eye" measurements.
