Product Description:
The M8054A from TE Connectivity is a 32 GHz interference source module, primarily used to generate repeatable and accurate level impairments for the testing of high-speed digital receivers. It is a 1-slot AXIe module compatible with the M8040A high-performance bit error rate tester (BERT) and can be used in conjunction with the M8000 series bit error testing solutions.
Feature:
Types of interference are diverse: it can generate random level interference (similar to "white noise"), with a peak factor > 5, as well as sinusoidal level interference, which can meet different testing requirements.
Modes are diverse: it supports both common-mode and differential-mode modes, allowing for flexible simulation of various interference scenarios in practical applications.
Bandwidth is adjustable: the bandwidth can be adjusted within the range of 160 kHz to 32 GHz, providing sufficient bandwidth support for signals up to 58 Gbaud (half of the Nyquist frequency).
Multiple output channels: it has 4 differential signal output channels, avoiding the use of balanced-unbalanced converters and reducing signal conversion losses and distortions.
Amplitude is adjustable: the output amplitude can be adjusted, with a maximum of 1 Vpp for single-ended and 2 Vpp for differential, enabling precise control of the intensity of the interference signal.
Easy integration: as a 1-slot AXIe module, it can be combined with the cost-effective M8040A bit error rate tester for convenient integration into the testing system.
Control is convenient: through the M8070B system software for graphical user interface operation and remote control, it has high integration and is easy to operate.
